So the day finally came. Dave and I were really making the move from Boston to Austin. Dave got a new job that was relocating us to Texas. Starting this new chapter in our lives. Honestly, it still feels surreal. We had both spent several weeks leading up to this point pinching ourselves and saying, is this real? Are we really moving to Austin, TX? I think I cried almost every other day. An absolute emotional wreck if I’m being truthful. I think the reason it was hard was because I loved where we lived and I built a successful real estate business in Boston, and was basically giving that up for this new adventure. There was something deep inside me that knew this was a good move. Not for one second though do I have any regrets. Anymore! :)

We get to the airport waiting for the plane that was going to take us on our new life adventure. We checked in our bags, and headed straight for the coffee shop. I desperately needed some coffee. When I took that first sip of coffee, I just closed my eyes and had that satisfied look that everyone, who loves coffee, gives after their first sip. During those few minutes, there was so much that was going through my head about what I was going to do in Austin, TX. Would I continue in real estate? Would I end up getting back into the music industry? (More on this in another post) There was this feeling of emptiness, but also this feeling of desire. A desire to start something new and fresh.
Dave and I absolutely love to travel and embrace all things locally, and abroad. We have both experienced some cool places in our lives. From the awesome adventure in snowy Antarctica to the warm black sands of the Canary Islands. Oh, and let me tell you,we also LOVE going to concerts and music venues.
Our inspiration behind traveling is based on our curiosities really. Our wants to explore, enjoy and see what else is out there in the world. Basically, exploring our love for food, culture, music, and life, inside the U.S. and globally. We are creating a life that gives us time to do things we love.
